What's happening
Taking place on Saturday 10th June 2017 from 11am-7.30pm, the Yarkhill Field to Fork Festival is a celebration of local food and drink from this small valley in rural Herefordshire.
Showcasing the best local asparagus, cider and strawberries, amongst other locally produced fare, with live music, cooking demonstrations, meet the producers, competitions and tasting opportunities, the festival will be a fun day for all ages to enjoy.

- Free activities for the kids - Lots for the kids to make and do, from learning about food and how it grows, cooking opportunities, smoothie making, competitions, crafts and face painting and a story teller.

- Free cooking demonstrations so learn new recipes using local produce
- Taste a variety of food and drink, available all day long

Profits will support:
- Yarkhill community projects that have been identified in the parish plan, including cycle paths, safer footpaths, traffic safety measures, creation of wildlife corridors and village hall improvements.
- Strong Young Minds is a 5 yr project which commenced in September 2015 designed to improve the mental health & wellbeing of young people in Herefordshire aged 10 – 24. Focussing on early intervention & prevention working with young people once they identify a potential issue which may have an adverse effect on their mental health.
